Ok I am backtracking a great extent as I have procrastinated and not updated this blog. I will catch up with all the pictures I had taken previously. This is really simple to make and I know and have read of some super mums who do the really cute themed bento boxes for kids but by the end of the day I am so tired, this recipe helps.
Ingredients :
- store bought frozen puff pastry
- tuna
- mayo or yoghurt
Utensils :
- Cookie cutter
- Fork
Method :
- Thaw the puff pastry till it is somewhat pliable ( but not too soft)
- Drain the canned tuna and mix in a little mayo
- Cut the puff pastry into shapes using cookie cutters
- Place tuna filling onto one piece of pastry and cover with the other
- Use a fork to seal the sides
- Brush the top of the pastry with beaten egg
- Bake in preheated oven at 180C for about 15 minutes
Verdict :
M ate some of it. He liked the crispy texture of the pastry and tasted a little of the tuna. Can make again.
