Tuna Hearts

Ok I am backtracking a great extent as I have procrastinated and not updated this blog. I will catch up with all the pictures I had taken previously. This is really simple to make and I know and have read of some super mums who do the really cute themed bento boxes for kids but by the end of the day I am so tired, this recipe helps.

Ingredients :
  • store bought frozen puff pastry
  • tuna
  • mayo or yoghurt
Utensils :
  • Cookie cutter
  • Fork
Method
  • Thaw the puff pastry till it is somewhat pliable ( but not too soft)
  • Drain the canned tuna and mix in a little mayo
  • Cut the puff pastry into shapes using cookie cutters
  • Place tuna filling onto one piece of pastry and cover with the other
  • Use a fork to seal the sides
  • Brush the top of the pastry with beaten egg
  • Bake in preheated oven at 180C for about 15 minutes
Verdict :

M ate some of it. He liked the crispy texture of the pastry and tasted a little of the tuna. Can make again.
